Looks good Tim!

I like the typeface for my name but I think the glow around it needs to be softened a little more.
I also think that the background texture could be something more delicate to go along with the leaf. The brick/patchwork is heavy; perhaps maybe a watercolor artistic texture or simply having a solid gradient would work better.
I like the earth tone colors and I really like how they look against the water droplets on the leaf. I’m not sure if the yellow outline around the design works well. Maybe using a darker green or that brown/maroon color I see in the gradient, would look nicer.
I like the text and the positioning of it, but I think it would work better if the two text bodies to the right were not lined up against the edge. Give it a little more room in between the edge and the text and it would work well.
Overall you did a good job and I really like the theme of the design.
